Women’s Wednesday Golf League Recap – August 20th
We had a fantastic turnout this week with 21 women teeing off on the front 9.
✨ Top Individual Performance Sue St. Pierre led the pack with oan impressive 4.5 points over, earning top honors for the night.
First Place Team Congratulations to the winning trio: Sue Jette, Jenny Plouff, and Dale Powers, who combined for a stellar score of 11 points over!
💪 Long Drive on Hole #2 Kelsey Caforia crushed it with the longest drive of the evening.
Closest to the Pin Luck was on Lena Dahlin’s side—she took home the prize by random draw!
Skins Winners
- Allison Parent snagged two skins with a birdie on hole #7 and a par on hole #2.
- Trish Adams matched that with two skins of her own, thanks to pars on holes #6 and #8.
Looking Ahead Next Wednesday, we’ll be switching things up with the Best Ball format. Each player plays their own ball, but only the best score from your team counts on each hole—so bring your A-game and cheer on your teammates!
Only Two Weeks Left! Our final league night is September 3rd, when we’ll wrap up the season with our always-popular End-of-Season Scramble. Don’t miss it!

Payment: League payments are made as you go: each time you play, you pay $5 inside the pro shop. Advance payment will not be accepted.
Women’s Wednesday Evening Golf League
When: Every Wednesday, May 28th – September 3rd
Time: Play starts at 5:00 PM sharp
Join us for a fun and competitive summer golf league open to all women golfers!
Entry Fee: $5.00 league fee per player, due weekly at check-in.

If you miss this cut-off, you can call the clubhouse Wednesday morning before noon at 802-933-2993. Teams are
Created at 1:00 on Tuesday and will be posted online.
Note: Non-members must pay green fees ($10.00 walking or $25.00 with a cart) at the pro shop.
The league
Fees are additional for league prizes.
Format: Groups of 3, randomly selected. We try not to do groups of 4 so we can get done by 7:00 pm.
New players are welcome to pair with a friend to get comfortable before joining the random draw format, but

Encouraging All Skill Levels: Whether you are new to golf or a seasoned player, this league is designed to be
enjoyable and competitive for everyone!
Important League Guidelines:
Start time: 5:00 pm sharp, please arrive early so you have time to get ready before we start. If you are running
late, you can join your group on the course.
Pace of Play: Please keep up with the team in front of you to keep a steady pace.
Pick up the ball at triple bogey to keep things moving.
Stableford Scoring is as follows: Birdie=4, Par=3, bogey=2,
double bogey=1, triple bogey 1⁄2 point.
If your ball is not in the hole by triple bogey, you mark zero and move on
to the next hole.
Scoring Rules: We count all strokes and penalties, just like tournament play. This includes any missed attempts
at hitting the ball.

Sign-up guidelines will be the same as last year’s process. You must sign up for the league in advance using the signup link provided here. You must sign up before Noon (12 o’clock) on Tuesday before Wednesday, or you will not be included in that week’s pairings. Click Here To Sign Up (Call-ins after noon Tuesday will not be listed on the website after this time, but can play that week if the league has not started.)
Format: Wednesday’s Women’s League will follow a Stableford/Point System format.
Players will compete individually and as a Threesome per hole (foursome tba) for Most Points Individually, Most Points as a Team, Closest to the Pin, and Skins. Points are awarded as follows:
- 6 Points – Eagle or Better
- 4 Points – Birdie
- 3 Points – Par
- 2 Points – Bogey
- 1 Point – Double Bogey
- 0.5 Point – Triple Bogey

✅ June 18: Invite a friend night/3-person scramble with a putting contest (friend can play with you)

🎯 Top Performer Alert: Laurie Stanleylocked down first place once again, racking up 8.5 points over her average and securing 2 skins with birdies on holes 7 and 9!

Women’s Wednesday League Recap – July 30th
A lively evening unfolded on Wednesday, July 30, with 25 women taking on the back nine. To add a bit of flair, each golfer had the bonus of one mulligan!
Top Individual Maddy DeRosia led the pack and claimed 1st place with a fantastic 7.5 points over. Way to go, Maddy!
It was a strong showing across the board, with many of the women playing well and scoring above points this week—a testament to the growing talent in our league!

Closest to the Pin – Hole #11 Allison Parent landed her ball just 9′ 8″ from the pin—a beautifully shot!

Looking Ahead – August 6 We’re keeping the momentum going next Wednesday with more Stableford point format play. Let’s see who climbs the leaderboard next!
Club Championship – Good Luck, Ladies! Sending lots of support to the six women competing this weekend in the Club Championship: Maria DeRosia, Maddy DeRosia, Sue St. Pierre, Kim Courcy, Susan Blouin and Cherie Geddes.

We had a fantastic turnout with 25 womenteeing off on the front nine!
